High Net Worth Immigration Solicitors

The UK is consistently chosen by high net worth individuals and their families for its appeal as a global commercial hub, with a thriving property market, advantageous tax regime and unrivalled education system.

"Payne Hicks Beach’s citizenship and immigration department is always client-focused and is commercially oriented to deliver the best possible results" The Legal 500 UK

We regularly advise high net worth clients on immigration applications and appeals. Sources quoted in the Legal 500 say that the team is “unrivalled in terms of their strategic and tactical thinking about the conduct of their clients’ cases“ and by Spear’s that Kathryn Bradbury “probably handles more Tier 1 investor visas than any solicitor in this country”

The Citizenship & Immigration department works closely with our Private Client department to ensure that the immigration options take into account the best tax planning strategy for our clients. We also work alongside other professional advisors such as investment managers, accountants, property and educational consultants to provide a comprehensive service.

Our expert in this area is Kathryn Bradbury.

Global talent visas

The global talent category is for world leaders and potential world leaders in their field, often including musicians, fashion designers, artists, actors, scientists, architects and engineers.

This category is highly attractive and allows a successful applicant to come to the UK to work in their industry without any financial investment, English language requirement or obtaining sponsorship by an employer.

Unusually for immigration applications the decision whether to endorse an applicant lies not with the Home Office, but with a designated competent body which include the Arts Council, Tech City, and the British Academy.

After three or five years in this category an applicant can apply for indefinite leave to remain. At this stage they must meet an English language requirement and also a strict residence requirement. One year after obtaining indefinite leave to remain an applicant can qualify for British citizenship, if they have lived in the UK for five years in total.

This category is often overlooked but it can be highly advantageous for those that can satisfy the criteria and our immigration department has an established track record of successful applications.
