With the end of divorce proceedings ahead of the start of the US Open, Rory and his wife, Erica, are looking forward to a ‘new beginning’ as a family on confirming they ‘resolved their differences’. Although it is unknown whether McIlory and Stoll took out a reconciliation contract or, as family lawyers term, a ‘post-nuptial agreement’, their divorce u-turn highlights the value these particular agreements can provide to high net worth individuals.
