Contacts and resources for victims of domestic abuse.

Access immediate help for domestic abuse through emergency services, pharmacies, and various support helplines. Whether in urgent need or seeking advice, multiple resources are available to ensure your safety and support. Please see below.

Telephone Support

In an emergency and if you or someone are else are in immediate danger dial 999

If it is not safe for you to speak dial 999, stay silent and when prompted key in 55

You can also ask for help in any pharmacy that has an “Ask for ANI” logo displayed.  ANI stands for Action Needed Immediately but sounds like the female name Annie.  If you go into a pharmacy displaying this logo and ask to speak to Annie they will offer you a private space and a telephone to make a call and ask what support you need.

If the situation is not an emergency, you can contact the police on 101
