His exciting new publication is entitled ‘Mina’i Ware, A Reassessment and Comprehensive Study of Iranian Polychrome Overglaze Wares through Sherds’. A wonderful cohort of invited guests comprised of art collectors, dealers, enthusiasts and scholars joined Till Vere-Hodge, our Head of Art and Cultural Property Law at Payne Hicks Beach LLP, for an evening filled with chatter, laughter, and fascinating conversation about Islamic and Asian Art. The event coincided with the beginning of Asia Art Week in London, which brings together the community of experts, auction houses, academics and collectors each autumn. Dr McClary of the University of York provided a sneak-peak of his new book following an honorary speech from
Professor Robert Hillenbrand (The University of Edinburgh) who put the work into the wider context of the study of Islamic Art in general. Thank you to all who joined us.
